Sussex, 1919. The Great War is over, but for Harriet Agnes McDougall its effects endure with a lingering uncertainty of exactly what became of her middle son, Malcolm in the trenches around Ypres. With peace now prevailing across Europe, Harriet decides to embark on a quest to discover precisely what happened to her son.
